HOW TO FIND US

-There is an international airport located in Antalya as well as many bus stations, making it easy to travel to other cities around Turkey. -For our guests coming to Antalya by plane, we have a transfer service from the airport to our pansiyon in return for some cost. For more information about the transfer, please contact us directly and give us your flight details.
-For our guests coming through the Antalya Bus-Station, or if you are taking a shuttle bus, the best place to get off would be at Hadrian's Gate (in Turkish "Uckapilar").
Then, walk through the gate in to the Old Town as far as Hesapci, Street which is about 300 metres straight ahead from Hadrian's Gate down towards the sea.
On the way, you will pass The Broken Minaret (in Turkish Kesik Minare), Sabah Pansiyon is just 100 metres after that. If you cannot find our place, you can ask the locals and they can direct you to where we are located. If you still cannot find your way to our pansiyon, just call us and we will help you.

ATTENTION: FOR CUSTOMERS COMING TO OUR PANSIYON WITH THEIR OWN VEHICLE, MOTORBIKE OR CARS!

The old city has changed its streets for vehicles. The new changes are important because most streets are now one way or closed to vehicles. Now, there are only 2 entrances and 2 exits into the old city. If you are coming with a vehicle, you can enter at the clock tower or after Hadrian's gate, turn right into the first street and that will let you into the old city. When you enter the old city, you must take a ticket in order for the crossing guard to open. YOU MUST KEEP AND NOT LOSE THAT TICKET UNTIL YOU EXIT THE OLD CITY!!!

To exit the old city, there are only 2 exits. You can exit before Hadrian's gate, between Doner kebap restaurants and Ziraat bank. The second exit is in Yenikapi Street. When you exit, you must give your ticket to the guard.

The easiest way to get to our place, if you are entering from the clock tower, is to follow the signs that direct you to Hidirlik Kulesi (Hidirlik Tower). Take that straight till you get to the end, make a left and go straight for 50 meters and there you will see us. We will be on the left hand side where you can see our signs. If you are entering from the Hadrian's gate direction, once you enter, also follow the signs to Hidirlik Kulesi, follow the same above directions and that will also bring you to our place.

When exiting from Sabah Pansiyon, follow the signs to Yenikapi Cikisi. This will lead you out of the old city and into Ataturk Street.

Please be advised that some streets are closed to vehicles and they have barriers to keep traffic from going in the wrong direction. You can clearly see these barriers, as they are bright yellow and do not allow vehicles to pass.

For customers who rent vehicles from Sabah Pansiyon, you do not need to get a ticket. We will provide you with pass cards that will allow you unlimited entry and exit without problems.

Bodrum Backpackers is a family run concern. It was started by a husband and wife team who actually met backpacking. They loved the people and the lifestyle so much they decided to open their own place. They are a Turkish English couple with a son and baby daughter. After many years of travelling they found Turkey has so much to offer backpackers.

Bodrum was the town they easily chose because it offers everything. Their place is in the old town literally 1 minute from the beach, 5 minutes walk to the central bus station, marina and harbour. The harbour connects you by ferry to the Greek Islands.

Bodrum is the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is steeped in history and surrounded by places of historical interest. At its heart is the magnificent St Peter's Castle built by the knights of Rhodes during the crusades. It stands on a peak at the centre of Bodrum Bay. Housed in the castle is the first and largest museum of underwater archaeology.
The hottest spot in Turkey for night life is definitely Bodrum. It has endless bars and night clubs lining the marina and bay. So after some hard touring and visiting wonderful places it is the premier place to kick back, chill out and do some serious partying.

The hotel is on the other side of this main road, continue further until the round about, make a complete U turn, and drive straight until you are almost but not quite across from the antique theatre, where there is free parking space in front of the gate, and where you will see several flags.
