We are located on top of the hill looking down the Sea of Okhotsk. Travelers can see and enjoy floating ice in winter from the window. The morning sun rising from Siretoko Mountains also can be seen.

We serve the main dish is the crab produced in Abashiri. After the meal, handmade cakes are served at teatime, and sightseeing tour is offered. Hotspring tour is held every day in season. Prison Museum, Kitakata Folkways Museum and Okhotsk Floating Ice Museum are close by bus.

Access: From JR Abashiri Station, take the Abashiri Bus bound for Futatsuiwa and get off at "Meiji-iriguchi." (10 min. ride) From there it is a 7 minute walk.
Pick-up service is available from either JR Abashiri Station or the bus stop.
By car: R39 from Bihoro, or R238 from Yubetsu.

Rocky Inn is located in Appi-Kogen (a tableland) in Iwate. There are many things to do for all seasons. You can enjoy skiing on Appi-Kogen's beautiful snow in winter, and also you can enjoy tennis, golf, mountain climbing, pat-golf, mope, cycling and more in summer!!

The rooms: Most of our rooms are twins. We also offer triples, four-bed rooms, and a 10-bed dorm room, for a total of 44 beds. The triple and four-bed rooms have connecting doors. Of course, every room has telephone and television. We try and keep you feeling your best by installing humidifiers in every room.

Lounge: You may wonder why our first floor dining room and lounge area are so large. In fact, this area was designed as a multi-use space for hosting weddings, club meetings, and business seminars, etc. During the summer season, many couples begin their married life here.

Freestanding fireplace: By building our fireplace right in the middle of the main living area, we have created a space perfect for enjoying cocktails and conversation. We can even arrange to grill fish on the fireplace upon request.

Bar: Our bartender has 10 years experience in serving up perfectly mixed drinks. Naturally the ambience is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Why don't you try our great drinks?

Sauna and hot bath: Feeling a little tired after a day on the courts or slopes? You can refresh yourself in our sauna and relax in the bath, all with a view on some of Appi's beautiful nature. We have added 'binchoutan', a special kind of charcoal, to the man-made bath to make the water beautifully soft. You will feel completely warm and relaxed! (Body soap and shampoo are provided.)
By the way, you may be shocked to discover that men and women share the same sauna. Not to worry, we lock one of the doors, and men and women use the sauna at separate times. Ladies first!

We offer hand towels (100yen), bath towels (200yen), hair wax, sunscreen and chopsticks are a small cost. Shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, make-up remover, moisturizer, Q-tips and cotton balls, nail polish remover, nail files, etc, are any 2 for 100yen.

Free parking ? Shuttle service: We have parking for 20 vehicles (free, of course). You can leave your car with us and take one of our shuttle busses to the ski area in the morning. We'll come and pick you up at the end of the day.

Through the Chikushi-Guchi exit, then walk straight to Miyako Hotel, then turn right at Miyako Hotel, walk down about 1 or 2 mins you will see FedEx^? Kinkos on your left hand side on the corner, turn left at the corner. The street is Chikushi Dori street. walk on the chikushi dori street about 8 mins. you will see the traffic intersection called 'Mizuho'. cross the intersection, walk 30 seconds, there is LAWSON (actually there are 2 LAWSON on this street after FedEx^?, so please take 2nd LAWSON) on your left hand side. turn left just before HONDA CARS (NOW under construction). then turn right. We are there.

From Fukuoka airport
If you arrive at international terminal. there are 2 choices. 1 is get on the taxi, it usually takes 5 to 8 mins by taxi to get our hostel. the cost is about 1200 yen. 1 more is get on the shuttle bus to domestic terminal. then get a sub way to HAKATA station. which is just 2 stops from domestic terminal. the cost is 250 yen. when you arrive at hakata station underground, take the way to Chikushi guchi exit. The Exit number is 15. when you come up on the ground you will see the Miyako hotel. Please see above direction from Miyako Hotel.

Japanese Ryokan Kashima Honkan

Before 1889, Hakata was an independent town to the northeast of Fukuoka. Hakata, which was closer to the sea, housed the city's merchants, while Fukuoka housed the samurai. When the two cities merged, the samurai coerced the merchants into naming the combined city "Fukuoka."

Ryokan Kashima Honkan is located in the centre of Hakata city, but you will stay at traditional Sukiya (tea-ceremony house) style of room in quiet environment. Our Ryokan (Japanese style Inn) is built in Sukiya-zukuri style. This type of architecture represents the elements of a Japanese tea ceremony. Our building was registered as "Tangible Cultural Property" by
Japanese government in May of 2007 for its traditional and excellent architecture.

We have our own enclosed Japanese traditional garden and here you can feel atmosphere of the Taishou Period (1911-1924).

Located in downtown Fukuoka City, you can easily to get the main attractions such as "Canal City Hakata" and more by walk. Canal City Hakata is one of the biggest amusement centers in the world which is really close to our Ryokan. There are also many old temples and Shinto shrines in this area.

One of the closest shrine 'Kushida Shrine' is very famous for the summer festival 'Hakata Gion Yamakasa' which is an annual summer festival held from July 1 to 15 by Kushida Shrine in Fukuoka City. With a history stretching back over 750 years, in 1979 it was designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. In 1241, to drive away an epidemic in Hakata, a high-ranking priest was carried by local residents around the town on a shelf and sprinkled holy water along the way. The Hakata Gion Yamakasa of today evolved from this event.

STONE PAVED ROAD: The old stone paved road was built in the 17th century to ease the travel through the steep mountains in bad weather when the trail became muddy. The remains of this road are preserved as historic relics.

HAKONE CHECKPOINT:
The old check point was established in 1619 by the Tokugawa Shogunate government as a safe guard against the rebellion of subordinate feudal lords. Abolished in 1819 and restored in 1965.

Access from TOKYO stn: Take a SHINKANSEN(Kodama) to ODAWARA stn and change to the bus. Take a bus which is heading for HAKONEMACHI from BUS LANE #3 at Odawara Stn Bus Terminal and get off at ASHINOKOEN-MAE Bus stop (60min) then one min walk to the Moto-Hakone Guest House.

We are the only backpackrers Hostel in Hiroshima city. The building used to be a Japanese stylel ryokan and we started the business on Novenver 2006 after a partial remodelling.
It is the second hostel after Kyoto managed by J-Hoppers Co., Ltd.
A 5-minute walk to Peace Memorial Park and the Park and a 8-min walk to the A-bomb Dome. Also nearest tram station is a 1-min walk.
Although we are located in a very convenient area near the downtown (5-10 min walk), it is very quiet around the hostel as it doesn't face a large street.

You cross the first narrow street and the following other two narrow street. When you reach the 4th narrow street and see soft-drink's vending machine called 'BOSS' in front, please turn right. Then, you will find 'Orange Inn'.

B1. From Kyoto station, take JR Tokaido-line to NIshi-Oji Station, and about 10 minutes' walk to Shichijyo-Street. After reaching Shichijyo-Street, you follow the same way as the person who takes bus in order to arrive Orrange Inn. Please read A2 in this part. A cheaper (¥1, 830/$17), though less convenient, alternative is the JR Kanku Kaisoku, which departs every 30 minutes or so from Kansai Airport and arrives in Kyoto 100 to 120 minutes later with a change at Osaka Station.

By Bus -- The easiest way to get around Kyoto and to most of its attractions is by bus. Buses depart from Kyoto Station's Central (north/Karasuma) exit, with platforms clearly marked in English listing the bus destinations. The Kyoto Tourist Information office gives out an excellent map showing major bus routes. Some of the buses loop around the city, while others go back and forth between two destinations. Most convenient for sightseeing is Raku bus no. 100 (some of which look like old-fashioned trolleys), which makes a run every 10 minutes from Kyoto Station to major attractions in east Kyoto, including the Kyoto National Museum, Gojo-zaka (the approach to Kiyomizu Temple), Gion, Heian Shrine, Nanzenji, and Ginkakuji. Raku bus no. 101 departs Kyoto Station for Nijo Castle and Kinkakuji.

The fare for traveling in central Kyoto is ¥220 ($2.10) for a single ride or ¥500 ($4.75) for a 1-day pass (good for all local buses). Board the bus at the rear entrance and pay when you get off. If the bus is traveling a long distance out to the suburbs, there will be a ticket machine right beside the back door -- take the ticket and hold onto it. It has a number on it and will tell the bus driver when you got on and how much you owe. You can see for yourself how much you owe by looking for your number on a lighted panel at the front of the bus; the longer you stay on the bus, the higher the fare.

When you move in your room, you need 30, 000 yen as a deposit and the total amount of the rent. Before you move out, you need to clean and restore your room to the original state. You and one of our staff check the room together and if there is no damage in your room, the deposit will be refunded to you up to 29, 000 yen (1, 000 yen / per person is deducted as a linen cleaning fee).

The shortest term of rent is semimonthly (14 nights).

There is no cancellation fee with at least 7 days (from your reservation date) advance notice of cancellation. The deposit (30, 000 yen) will be charged to your credit card for cancellations with less than 7 days notice unless the room is re-booked, then the deposit is refunded in full. Acess from JR Kyoto station
?You should go out from Central Exit of JR Kyoto station, walk Karasuma-dori which has Kyoto Tower. Turn right at the intersection of Shichijo-dori and Karasuma-dori, and walk about 5-6 minutes, pass Kawaramachi-dori and turn left at the next street of Kawaramachi-dori then walk about 50 meter, you see a three floors yellow building, that is K's House Kyoto.
It is about 10 mins walk from JR Kyoto Station to our hostel.
If you have heavy bags, taking a taxi is another choice. The cost is 540-660yen.

Near the cabin there are a lot of wild flower, crab, insect, etc. You can enjoy wild flower picking, gathering crabs.
