Please don?t listen to any 'advice' which weirdos on the bus terminal will tell. They will try to confuse you by giving false directions or even offer you free ride or so.They are not allowed to do that and they just intend to trick you. We give you easy options, and minimize your costs. If you are coming to the airport, at least 12 hours in advance please send us flight number, and time of arrival, we can arrange pick up service for you 0-24h.Airport is about 35 miles away from the town, regular price for ride is 27 eur in total.
If you are coming by Bus/Ferry terminal:
TAXI option(10 minutes)-Take any of the TAXI at the bus terminal, old town or ferry terminal and we will refund 30 kuna(half of the prize) to you. Please use our address for direction!

BUS option: You can buy ticket in the bus(10kuna), or any shop(8kuna).
First BUS option(20 minutes)= take bus number 7 KANTAFIG(MAIN BUS STATION) -

If you will come by car from the airport, it takes around 20 km to get to Ivo gusethouse. Just drive the main road to Split, do not enter in the city. After 2o km you will see on the right side a little place with lot of houses. My house is just few meters before that place (on the left side you will see a three parking spaces with sign sobe, zimmer rooms cammere, on the right side is big parking space)

By car: If you arrive from Split, once you crossed the Dubrovnik bridge go 2 kilometers and it is a house with a parking spaces on the right side the road. You will see a little place with lot of houses on left side of the road. When you passed that place, a few meters, the first house on the right side with sign SOBE ZIMMER ROOMS CAMERE, is Ivo guesthouse.

Situated on the seaside and only a 15 minute walk from the center, a 5 minute walk to the sandy beach and 1 minute to the beach. We have a big terrace and garden in a quiet area.

There's one large bedroom (12 meters sq.), which has a double bed, a balcony with a view of the sea (50 meters from the sea) and one balcony (10 meters sq.) looking at the terrace. There is also a fireplace, garden with grapes, orange and lemon trees and flowers. We have a living room together with a dinning room and a large balcony (also facing the sea) the size of this is 30 meters sq. There is also a bathroom, one small single room and a kitchen.

The terrace is stone plated with a fireplace and the facilities to make some grill specialties, (meat or fish or vegetables) for lunch or supper. In the photos you san see a terrace, living room, one of the bedrooms and a view from the balcony.

We are situated in the middle of the city on the seaside, but positioned in such a way that there is no traffic or rush; so we are in a very, very quiet neighborhood. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Old town (very center of Dubrovnik). There is beach right next to the house (only 50 stairs to the sea) or sandy beaches (one of which is a 10 minutes walk and the others are a 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.)

The nearest bus stop is Pile bus stop, which is located on the Pile gate (one of entrance of Old Town).Pile bus stop is just 3 min walking from our guesthouse. The Old City and attractions
Founded 1300 years ago, Dubrovnik's appeal lies in the old town of Stari Grad, with its marble-paved squares, steep cobbled streets, tall houses, convents, churches, palaces, fountains and museums, all cut from the same light-colored stone. The intact city walls keep motorists at bay, and the town has an agreeable climate and lush vegetation, due to its location at the southern end of the country's Adriatic coast.
Although Dubrovnik was heavily shelled in 1991, it has been largely restored - recent travelers have even reported that Dubrovnik looks better than it did before the war, particularly as the tourist hordes have not yet returned. The Placa, Dubrovnik's wonderful pedestrian promenade, runs from the city bus stop outside Pile Gate to the clock tower at the other end of town. Just inside the Pile Gate, the Franciscan Monastery houses a pharmacy, which has been operating since 1391.
At the other end of the Placa stand St Blaise's Church, a lovely Italian baroque building, and the Gothic Rector's Palace, built in 1441. The palace is now a museum with furnished rooms, baroque paintings and historical exhibits. Opposite is a bustling morning market.
Dubrovnik?s city walls were built between the 13th and 16th centuries, and are still intact today. Arguably the finest city walls in the world, they are over 2km (1.2mi) long and 25m (82ft) high, with 16 towers.
