From Airport:

By MTR (Sub-way): Take the Airport Express to HK Station (Service from 05:50 to 01:15, every 8-12 minutes, costs 100 HKD per each person), then transfer to Island Line MTR towards Chai Wan direction, get off at Fortress Hill Station. From Exit A, turn right and go over the pedestrian bridge with first exist of the bridge. Yesinn is the first building of the right hand side. Or exit B, just cross the main road to opposite of the road, then turn right, to yesinn only 15-25 meters distance. It is the first building after pass under the bridge, it will take around 45-60 minutes for whole trip.

By Bus: Take the Airport Bus no. A11 (Service from 05:30 to 24:00, every 8-15 minutes, costs 40 HKD for each person (no luggage fee)), get off at Electric Rd Market (Stop at Newton Hotel). Our hostel is on King's Road witch is parallel with Electric Road. Go to Olympic Plaza direction, yesinn is just 13 meters away at the West of Olympic Plaza. It will take around 55-70 minutes for whole trip.(recommended)

DIRECTIONS


-----------From Hong Kong Airport


1. Airport Shuttle Bus:

Airport bus is the most convenient and popular method to get to Chungking Mansions. The Airbus Station is located near the Arrivals Level (Level 5) of Hong Kong International Airport. Find the Airport Shuttle Bus Number: A21 , which terminal is called Hung Hom KCR Station.Please take a short wait and get on this Number of Bus. The bus departs approximately every 10-15 minutes. A fare is HKD $33(free of luggage fee). When you are on the bus, be sure to first to secure your luggage then find a sit on the lower level. In 40 - 80 minutes (depends on traffic situation) you will reach to the Bus Stop No.14 - the name of this Stop is called : Middle Road Station, Nathan Road. Because the service time of A21 is 05:00-23:59, you can use N21 airport bus at same place and stop at the same bus stop if you arrival Hong Hong after 00:00 and before 5:00A.M.

Once you got off the bus, turn the back way, and walk approximately about 50M, It takes about 30 seconds on foot. you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your right hand side. You wiil see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, Please kindly go straight of the row to Block C ( at the last tower of the Chungking Mansions ). You can see two lift in Block C, take the right hand side one, Lift Number 6 (stop at Floor 15), push the 15th floor button, when you come out from the lift, you can see our reception should on your right hand side.



2. Airport Express

Service from 05:50 to 01:15, every 12 minutes, it takes around 25 minutes, costs 90 HKD per each person (free of luggage fee). Please stop at the Kowloon Station and change to the free airport shuttle Bus Number K3

K3- taking K3 to Holiday-Inn Hotel and get off there.Please after go along the Nathan Road.Turn left, you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your left hand side. You wiil see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, Please kindly go straight of the row to Block C ( at the last tower of the Chungking Mansions ). 1. Ferry


There are two piers

1. Guangdong Road (Tsim Sha Tsui). The ChungKing^? Mansion is within walking distance about 15 minutes.

2. Sheungwan. The MTR Subway Train station is right beside the pier and Customers can take the MTR Subway Train to the Tsim Sha Tsui station and come out at Exit C1.

1. Airport Shuttle Bus:

Airport bus is the most convenient and popular method to get to Chungking Mansions. The Airbus Station is located near the Arrivals Level (Level 5) of Hong Kong International Airport. Find the Airport Shuttle Bus Number: A21 , which terminal is called Hung Hom KCR Station.Please take a short wait and get on this Number of Bus. The bus departs approximately every 10-15 minutes. A fare is HKD $33(free of luggage fee). When you are on the bus, be sure to first to secure your luggage then find a sit on the lower level. In 40 - 80 minutes (depends on traffic situation) you will reach to the Bus Stop No.14 - the name of this Stop is called : Middle Road Station, Nathan Road. Because the service time of A21 is 05:00-23:59, you can use N21 airport bus at same place and stop at the same bus stop if you arrival Hong Hong after 00:00 and before 5:00A.M.

Once you got off the bus, turn the back way, and walk approximately about 50M, It takes about 30 seconds on foot. you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your right hand side. You wiil see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, Please kindly go straight of the row to Block C ( at the last tower of the Chungking Mansions ). K3- taking K3 to Holiday-Inn Hotel and get off there.Please after go along the Nathan Road.Turn left, you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your left hand side. There are two piers

1. Airport Shuttle Bus:

Airport bus is the most convenient and popular method to get to Chungking Mansions. The Airbus Station is located near the Arrivals Level (Level 5) of Hong Kong International Airport. Find the Airport Shuttle Bus Number: A21 , which terminal is called Hung Hom KCR Station.Please take a short wait and get on this Number of Bus. The bus departs approximately every 10-15 minutes. A fare is HKD $33(free of luggage fee). When you are on the bus, be sure to first to secure your luggage then find a sit on the lower level. In 40 - 80 minutes (depends on traffic situation) you will reach to the Bus Stop No.14 - the name of this Stop is called : Middle Road Station, Nathan Road. Because the service time of A21 is 05:00-23:59, you can use N21 airport bus at same place and stop at the same bus stop if you arrival Hong Hong after 00:00 and before 5:00A.M.

Once you got off the bus, turn the back way, and walk approximately about 50M, It takes about 30 seconds on foot. you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your right hand side. You wiil see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, Please kindly go straight of the row to Block C ( at the last tower of the Chungking Mansions ). Story of Our Home ? New Garden Hostel

Foreigners who are visiting Hong Kong for the first time and looking for a hostel located on the Kowloon side, if you have plenty of time before deciding which hostel you are gonna stay, I would like to tell you a story about the name of Kowloon and a bit history of our hostel.

Kowloon is the translation from the Chinese words ?Nine Dragon?. Feng Shui professionals indicate that there are nine mountain chains on the kowloon peninsula, and mountain chain is ?the blood of dragon? from the fengshui point of view. Hence the name ?nine dragon? was made.

New Garden Hostel originally named Kowloon Hostel. It has witnessed the growth of Kowloon, as well as Hong Kong, over 30 years. Hong Kong had been developing very fast after 1970s. From a small island mainly depended on fishing, Hong Kong has become one of the most significant international financial centre in the world. From a very rural area, it becomes one of the most important city of China. Thanks for the immigrants from China; they brought in skills and labor force. Ever since, Hong Kong became a famous city of more than 7 millions residents.

Hong Kong is actually very small, as compared with Shanghai, Tokyo, New York City and London these famous financial centers. However, the price of land of Hong Kong is among the highest. In Hong Kong, the flats are crowded, the buildings are crowded, the whole city is crowed with people! Here, Kowloon Hostel is located in an old building which is crowded with students, housewives, workers, etc. Foreigners are able to experience the closeness with each others, to experience the style of 1980s?building in the modern downtown of a city, to experience the life of hardworking Hong Kong people! Friendly Hints

- Most of the promotions from other hostels focus mainly on customer service and avoid the room facilities and size. After secret investigation, it's concluded that their hostels and rooms are small such that customers fail to sleep if they are not too tired.

- Their description says that all other Hong Kong hostels are just look like theirs. One should be aware that they cannot represent all hostels in Hong Kong and their descriptions are misleading. Before 2007, their description may apply, but now it's totally changed.

- Rooms equipped with windows are especially important to customers. It indicates whether the room has fresh air. Regarding some hostels avoiding promotions of room facilities (e.g. with windows or not), then you must definitely get a tiny room without window if you book their rooms.

From the Airport:
Travelers have the choice of taking, the Citybus A21 Route, the taxis or the MTR Airport Express to reach our hostel from the airport.

Airport Bus:
Airport bus is the most popular method to get to Chungking Mansions. The Airbus Station is located near Hall B on the Arrivals Level (Level 5) of Hong Kong International Airport. Find the bus stand for A21 Airport Hung Hom KCR Station Route. You will see a map of the terminal. There is usually a lineup of around 10. The bus departs approximately every 10-15 minutes. A fare is HK$33. When you are on the bus, be sure to first secure your luggage then find a sit on the lower level. In 40-70 minutes (varies with traffic) you will reach the Bus Stop No.14 - Middle Road, Nathan Road. (1st being the airport).

Once you got off the bus, turn the back way, and walk approximately about 50M, It takes about 30 seconds on foot. you can see the ChungKing^? Mansions front entrance on your right hand side. You will see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at ChungKing^? Mansions, walk into the Block A (just be close to the Chungking Mansions front entrance). You can see two lift, take the right hand side one(stop at odd numbers floor), push the 3rd floor button, when you are out, you can see our reception should be within your sight.

Taxi:
From the airport, you can get to our Guest House directly. It is the quickest and the most reliable method. It takes about 30-45 minutes. You are expected to pay about HK$280-300 for the trip.

Taxi driver may not know precisely where ChungKing^? Mansions is. Even if they do, they may not have heard of its name in English. If will be helpful to show them the map or chinese word. There is no airport taxi, only regular taxis. Please catch the red coloured one, because other colours do not go to the Kowloon area. Once you got off the Taxi, just find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. It should be within your sight when you got off the Taxi.

Airport Express (AEL) / Railway:
For passengers who wants a balance between comfort and economic, the Airport Express Railway is the definite choice. Airport Express can be easily spotted in the Arrival Hall. You will find ticketing machine on side walls. Purchase your ticket for the Kowloon stop. Get off at Kowloon station. This will take 20 minutes. The fare is HK$90. After 20 minutes of the ride, you will arrive at the Kowloon Station. Direct your self to Exit A and hop on to a taxi It takes about 5 minutes to get to ChungKing^? Mansions. You are expected to pay about HK$20 for this short trip, or you can take shuttle bus K5 to go to the Holiday Inn hotel. Get off at Holiday Inn Golden Mile (Hotel). walk to the Nathan Road side, and turn to the left hand side walk more 50 steps, you will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions.

Train from Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou:
If you take the nonstop train from Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou, your train will stop at the Kowloon Hung Hom Station. When you get off the train, buy the ticket to the station - East Tsim Sha Tsui. It cost HKD$3.5 one person, and take 2 minutes. When you arrival the East Tsim Sha Tsui station, Get off from K gate - Middle Road. After comes out walks towards Nathan Road direction, walk to the intersection right extention, walk 100m, obviously Chungking Mansions main entrance, It takes about 2 minutes on foot.

City Transportation:
MTR (Mass Transit Railway): This is most popular city transportation for foreign tour list.
It takes about 30 seconds on foot from E gate of Tsim Sha Tsui Station.
You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. It should be within your sight when you got off the E gate.
When you arrive at the Hong Kong international airport, before you collect your luggage, there are many free telephone you can use, please call us immediately, we will direct you the easiest way to come to our Guest House.

1.Airport bus is the most popular method to get to Chungking Mansions. The Airbus Station is located near Hall B on the Arrivals Level (Level 5) of Hong Kong International Airport. Find the bus stand for A21 Airport Hung Hom KCR Station Route. You will see a map of the terminal. There is usually a lineup of around 10. The bus departs approximately every 10-15 minutes. A fare is HK$33. When you are on the bus, be sure to first secure your luggage then find a sit on the lower level. In 40 -90 minutes (varies with traffic) you will reach the Bus Stop No.14 - Middle Road, -imperial hotel (1st being the airport). Because the service time of A21 is 05:00-23:59, you can use N21 airport bus at same place and stop at same bus stop if you arrival Hong Hong after 00:00.Once you got off the bus, turn the back way, and walk approximately about 50M, It takes about 30 seconds on foot. you can see the Chung King Mansions front entrance on your right hand side. You wiil see the huge TV screen paste at the wall of Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, walk into the Block E. You can see two lift, take the left hand side one, (stop at even numbers floor), push the 12nd floor button, when you are out, you can see our reception should be within your sight.

2. Taxi: From the airport, you can get to our hostel direct. It is the quickest and the most reliable method. It takes about 30-45 minutes. You are expected to pay about HK$280-300 for the trip. Most taxi drivers in Hong Kong know some English. The following texts may come in handy:
'Tsim Sha Tsui Middle Road' (Chinese word = ??????????? )
'Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station Exit E' (Chinese word = ??????????? )
'Chungking Mansions'(Chinese word = ?????????)

Taxi driver may not know precisely where Chung King Mansions is. Even if they do, they may not have heard of its name in English. If will be helpful to show them the map or Chinese word. There is no airport taxi, only regular taxis. Please catch the red coloured one, because other colours do not go to the Kowloon area. Once you got off the Taxi, just find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. It should be within your sight when you got off the Taxi.
When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, walk into the Block E ( Don't need follow the anybody who want to misleading you or take commission from you.Pls ask the security man who stayed in the counter where is Block E). You can see two lift, take the Left hand side one, (stop at even numbers floor), push the 12nd floor button, when you are out, you can see our reception should be within your sight.


3. Airport Express (AEL) / Railway: For passengers who wants a balance between comfort and economic, the Airport Express Railway is the definite choice. Airport Express can be easily spotted in the Arrival Hall. You will find ticketing machine on side walls. Purchase your ticket for the Kowloon stop. Get off at Kowloon station. This will take 20 minutes. The fare is HK$90.

After 20 minutes of the ride, you will arrive at the Kowloon Station. Direct your self to Exit A and hop on to a taxi It takes about 5 minutes to get to Chung King Mansions. You are expected to pay about HK$20 for this short trip, or you can take shuttle bus K3 to go to the Holiday Inn hotel. Get off at Holiday Inn Golden Mile (Hotel). walk to the Nathan Road side, and turn to the left hand side walk more 50 steps, you will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, walk into the Block E.

From the Train(from China)
1. KCR(Kowloon-Canton Railway): If you come from Lo Wu (Shenzhen, China), please get off at the last station - East Tsim Sha Tsui. Get off from K gate - Middle Road. After comes out walks towards Nathan Road direction, walk to the intersection right extention, walk 100m, obviously Chung King Mansions main entrance, It takes about 2 minutes on foot. You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. When you make sure you are at Chung King Mansions, walk into the Block E.

2. Train from China Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or etc...: If you take the nonstop train from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or etc... your train will stop at the Kowloon HungHom^? Station, when you get off the train, buy the ticket to the station - East Tsim Sha Tsui. It cost HKD$3.5 per person, and take 2 minutes. When you arrival the East Tsim Sha Tsui station, Get off from K gate - Middle Road. After comes out walks towards Nathan Road direction, walk to the intersection right extention, walk 100m, obviously Chungking Mansions main entrance, It takes about 2 minutes on foot. You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions.

From the Ferry(from China, Macau or etc...)
There are two piers:
1. China HK City: This pier is just located at Tsim Sha Tsui area. Use the taxi only charge HKD$20 and take about 5 minutes then you are at our building. Also you can walk to here about 10 minutes. You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions.

2. SheungWan^?: This pier is located at SheungWan^? MTR subway station, take the subway 5 minutes to the Tsim Sha Tsui station, E gate. You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chung King Mansions. It should be within your sight when you got off the E gate.

City Transportation:
MTR Subway(Mass Transit Railway): This is most popular city transportation for foreign tour list.
It takes about 30 seconds on foot from E gate of Tsim Sha Tsui Station.
You will find the huge TV screen paste at the wall, that just the Chungking Mansions. It should be within your sight when you got off the E gate.

Tips: Prevention for your loss of money, please don?t show your booking sheet to any stranger approaching you in front of Chungking Mansion. They might claim to be our staff and mislead you to other hostel, trying to get money from you. Don?t pay any money until you reach our guest house. If you need help, on the road side there are some public phone it charge HK$1 that you can use to call us or get the information from management post inside Chungking Mansion lobby.The security will help you to find E block more easily.
