Hasslebo is an ideal place for a relaxing and adventurous holiday in the genuine atmosphere of the skerries. Here you can walk on old elk paths, enjoy the abundance of berries in the forest, and admire Kumlinge's church from the 15th century. On Kumlinge, you find a post office, bank, church, grocery and drugstore, as well as a lively little marina.

For to visit sights on the other islands, we recommend hiring a bicycle. Transport on the regional ferries is free of cost for foot and bicycle passengers. The 17th century museum homestead Hermas on Enklinge and the archipelago museum on Lappo are well worth visiting!

In the vicinity you find Hasslebo stable, inhabited by riding horses and the well-loved donkey Gunnar. Also a small boat harbour belongs to the grounds. Take a fishing trip in the motor boat, or sail with a traditional åland "julla"!

It is always easy to find us - the 72 meter high tower of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium is visible almost anywhere in town. We are located 100 meters north from tower in the northern curve of the Stadium.

Our hostel has a joyful and relaxing atmosphere. This is the place to meet other travelers. We have few private rooms in the hostel, but mostly we gather travelers together in dormitories.

Our cafeteria opens daily at 7:30 a.m. for the buffet breakfast. Stadium Buffet Breakfast consists of cereals, eggs, bacon and sausages, cheese and ham, bread, butter and marmalade, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Helsinki Airport (HEL) is located 18 kms from us. From the airport, you can take the Finnair bus to town, and ask the driver to drop you off by the Opera house, from where it is a 500 meter walk to the hostel.

Helsinki Railway Station is located about 1, 5 kms south of us. It is a 20 minute pleasant walk from there to our hostel. You can also take a tram # 3B in front of the railway station or trams # 3T or # 7A in Mannerheimintie. In both cases ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to the hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by bus from west, north or east, ask the driver to drop you off by the Opera house, from where it is a 500 meter walk to the hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Silja Line or Linda Line ferries, take the tram # 3 (B or T - no difference!), and ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to the hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Viking Line, Nordic Jet Line or Sea Wind ferries, take the tram # 4, and ask the driver drop you off by the "Toolon Halli" (the next stop after the Opera House), from where it is a 400 meter walk to the hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Tallink or Eckero Line ferries, take the bus # 15 to Ruoholahti metro station, and change there to tram # 8, and ask the driver drop you off by the Opera House, from where it is a 500 meter walk to the hostel.

For those who arrive with their own vehicles, we have plenty of free parking places on our courtyard. Bicycles can be stored in our garage.

The entire trip takes about an hour and will cost you one regional ticket , 3, 80? . With the same ticket you will be able to use any public transport ( underground, bus, tram ) inside Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo for 80 minutes.

The cheapest taxi service from the airport is Yellow line- airport taxi. It will cost 30 ?/ for 1-2 persons / one way. You can book it from the airport.

There are 23 non smoking rooms in the hostel. As a matter of fact the whole hostel is a non smoking establishment. You can choose between a twin, a quadruple room and a six or eight bedded dormitory. There are wooden bunk beds in most of our rooms and in every room there is a refrigerator. In the dormitory rooms there is a locker for each quest.

In the beds there are mattresses, pillows and blankets. You may use your own linen or rent some from our reception.

The use of a sleeping bag is allowed with an under sheet and a pillow case.

Hostel Turku is located within walking distance from the town center( appr. 1, 5 km) and harbor ( appr. 2 km).

Our hostel is located in the scenic, natural surroundings of the island Vaskiluoto. The sea is right next door and the city centre is also in our immediate vicintiy. Near the hostel you can enjoy both the Tropiclandia spa and Wasalandia amusement park. In addition, a sea route to Sweden is only a few mintues away.

Our hostel has 30 rooms for 1-4 persons and is built in one floor. The rooms are supplied with toilet, shower, colour TV and refridgerator. In addition, we offer cooking pssibility with kitchenware.
